I was inspired by an artist called Joseph Fettingis and decided to try and create the same quality using a picture of my own mare called 'Lady.' She could be quite stubborn at times, and when she had to be reprimanded we used to put her back in the stable and give her time to think about the lesson she had just been taught. Then we would take her out of the stable and she would be absolutely fine and the lesson was learnt! She was my greatest companion and lived to the great age of 26years. Her final resting place is overlooking the valley where she used to graze.
